Windmills est un pouf-tourniquet de large diamètre sur lequel l’on peut s’assoir ou s’allonger. Son mouvement rotatif fluide permet de mélanger les couleurs alors que la forme hélicoïdale de l’arête crée l’illusion d’une vague sans fin.
Inspiré des cercles de recherche chromatique, il a été conçu à l’invitation de Kvadrat de célébrer l’étendue de la collection historique Hallingdal 65.

Windmills is a rotating seat like a wheel on which one can sit or lay. When it turns softly and fluidly thanks to a ball –bearing system, the helicoid shape creates a visual illusion of a never-ending wave.
The succession of fabric reminds of historical chromatic researches. The idea was to celebrate the incredible palette of the Hallingdal collection in a light way. Either a waiting seat or a soft playground for children, it mixes colours up to the infinite.
